Stop Saying YES To Things You HATE!!

"The more clear you are on what you want, the more you empower your brain to come up with answers"-Tony Robbins Have you been saying yes to things that are no longer serving you? How has your mental health been impacted by saying yes to things you hate? Saying no can be difficult, especially when it’s not your typical response. The good news is you can train yourself to think and respond differently Even though we sometimes can’t say no to c ertain things, I think it’s helpful to explore things in our lives that we find ourselves consistently saying yes to, when truly, our heart is telling us no. Don’t let outside forces dictate the way you operate and the way you think. Let yourself do what is best for you and pursue only the life that is fulfilling and gives you a sense of real satisfaction. You have the power to say yes or to say no, so which will it be when it truly matters? Saying no does not make you a bad or unkind person. It means that you respect yourself. That you...

What We think, We become!!

Close your eyes and visualize yourself become the person that you always wanted to be. Now, Identify the feeling and give your mind a vision of where it wanted to go. It will help you to drive you to stay on creating it to happen. Visualize yourself become the person that you want to be, is a powerful tool to stay focus. When you focus on something, you actually give your mind a command. So your mind is looking for ways to extract that command that you gave it. Why? Because your brain doesn’t know the difference, so it will drive you to focus on creating it to happen. So understand that every time you tell yourself that things will go wrong, it’s actually going to happen. Your mind will look for the things that you tend to look for. If you think negative, your mind will look for negative.  There are three practices that prime the brain for a change. They are visualization, affirmations and intentions. Positive change starts with a positive vision of the life you want, positive affi...

Surmount Negativity!!

"Be the energy you want to attract”   If you constantly think of the worst, if you do not believe that you can ever achieve something, if you do not believe that someone can be good, if you constantly complain, if you always see the negativity in situations, if you regularly put others down, if you are a negative person, you will develop negative energy and in the end you will only attract more negative situations in your life. The way you see things and start by eliminating negative thoughts and negative beliefs will help you change your energy so that you start to attract the energy you want to be around yourself. Another way to see this is more high level, as in treat the world as you want the world to treat you . You want to be a successful boss babe and kill it at everything you do? Then work hard, push boundaries, and don’t stop trying. You want to be well-regarded, well-respected, and admired? Then be genuine, be real, and keep to your own business. All in all, you get wh...

Antitoxin To Self- Criticism!

How do you feel when you look in the mirror? Do you criticize how you look?  The way you think has the power to become a self-fulfilling prophecy.  If you have a harsh  inner critic , you're not alone: Self-doubt, catastrophic predictions, and harsh words are common. But you don't have to be a victim of your own verbal abuse.  Occasional self-doubt is generally considered to be a normal part of life, but chronic or excessive self-criticism may contribute to mental health concerns, such as  depression ,  social anxiety ,  body image  issues, or feelings of  worthlessness . A tendency to blame oneself when things go wrong may lead to feelings of failure, lowness, or a depressed mood. You know what? The greatest cure, The greatest love of all is- Self Love!   To love yourself is to be in awe of the miracle of your existence. It is to accept yourself as you are - the "light" parts and the "dark" , the "good" and the "ba...

Laugh More, Especially at Yourself

Life gets busy, our schedules fill up, we get into relationships, and work can feel task oriented and routine-driven at times. Being human can feel more like being a ROBOT . But having this work-driven, serious attitude often results in negative and performance oriented thinking. Becoming positive means taking life less seriously and letting yourself off the hook. This is the only life that you get to live, why not lighten up your mood? Laughter helps us become positive by lightening our mood and reminding us not to take life so seriously. Are you sensitive to light sarcasm? Do you have trouble laughing at jokes? Usually, people who are stressed out and overly serious get most offended by sarcasm because their life is all work and no play. If we can learn to laugh at ourselves and our mistakes, life will become more of an experiment in finding out what makes us happy. And finding happiness means finding positivity.

Emotions are Overrated

Emotions evolved for one specific purpose: o help us live a little bit better. They're feedback mechanisms telling us that something is either likely right or likely wrong for us-- nothing more, nothing less. Much as the pain of touching a hot stove teaches you not to touch it again.  Emotions are part of the equation of our lives, but not the entire equation. Just because something feels good doesn't mean it is good. Just because something feels bad doesn't mean it is bad. This is why your problems are recursive and unavoidable. The house you buy is the house you repair. The dream job you take s the job you stress over. Everything comes with a sacrifice--whatever makes us feel good will also inevitably make us feel bad. What we gain is also what we lose. What creates our positive experiences will define our negative experiences. This is a difficult pill to swallow. We like the idea that there's some form of ultimate happiness that can be attained. We like the...
